CAG Intel · Limited beta
Privacy policy
Cumberland Advisory Group, LLC (“CAG”) operates CAG Intel and this website. Contact brian@cagllc.co with privacy questions or requests.
Information we use
- Account information: your sign-in identifier and any name or email supplied through Sign in with Apple, including a private-relay email. Dedicated review accounts use email/password sign-in through Google Firebase Authentication.
- Company profile: the business name, website, capabilities, keywords, NAICS codes, agencies, states served, certifications, and opportunity preferences you enter.
- Your choices: Save, Pursue, and Pass selections, related public opportunity details, profile settings, and timestamps.
- Technical information: authentication and app-verification information, network/request metadata such as IP address, and operational error and security records processed by our service providers.
- Support and beta feedback: messages, screenshots, crash information, and other material you choose to send to CAG or share through TestFlight. Please do not include passwords, confidential bid documents, or sensitive personal information in feedback.
Government opportunity information comes from public sources such as SAM.gov. Information you enter about your business is associated with your account, not published as a company directory.
Why we use it
We use information to provide account access, match opportunities to your company profile, remember your choices, answer support requests, investigate defects, and protect and test the service. We do not sell or rent personal or company-profile data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Providers and external links
The current beta uses Apple for Apple sign-in, app verification, and TestFlight distribution, and Google Firebase/Google Cloud, Apps Script, and a spreadsheet-backed service for authentication, protected app requests, profiles, and saved choices. Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and can process request, security, and website-performance information. Access is limited to CAG and providers needed to operate and support these services, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.
A separate database comparison uses Neon/PostgreSQL and Google Cloud for the specifically enrolled pilot account. Ordinary beta tester enrollment does not automatically include a tester in that comparison.
Providers may process information in the United States and other locations where their services operate. Their notices describe their own processing: Apple, Firebase, Cloudflare, and Neon. Opening a SAM.gov or other external link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
We keep active account information, profiles, and saved choices while your account is active so the service can work. Signing out does not delete your server account. The app keeps account-specific cached data on your device and clears the departing account’s app-managed profile, match, and saved-item caches when you sign out.
In Profile, Delete account and saved items requires you to confirm your identity. The deletion flow removes the account’s active profile and saved-choice records and requests deletion of its Firebase sign-in account. If the app reports that deletion did not fully finish, retry as directed or contact CAG support. You can also email us to request access, correction, or deletion; we may need to verify account ownership.
Deleting active records does not immediately erase every historical copy. Provider backups, spreadsheet version history, security/audit logs, support correspondence, and separately authorized pilot copies are outside the app’s automatic deletion flow. Contact CAG for review of these records. Retention depends on the purpose and provider: recovery and history copies support restoration; security records support incident investigation; support records are kept as needed to resolve the request and related disputes or legal obligations. We do not promise a single immediate-erasure deadline for these different systems.
Google states that Firebase authentication information is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days after the customer initiates user deletion. Google’s separate security and operational records have their own retention rules. These limits do not mean a deleted account remains usable in CAG Intel.
Your choices and security
You can update your company profile, sign out, or request deletion. Account information is necessary for the account-based features; you may choose not to use those features. CAG uses authenticated requests, app verification, and account-specific access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not share your account password or send it to support.
Changes
This policy describes the limited beta. We will update its date when the policy changes and provide notice before materially different uses of personal information. Contact brian@cagllc.co if you have questions.
